Emirati teen represents UAE in World Cyber Games

An Emirati teenager will represent the UAE in this year's World Cyber Games competition in China.

Marwan Khoory, an 18-year-old Emirati, won the UAE final of the World Cyber Games 2012 and will represent the country at the grand final in Kunshan, China from November 29 to December 2.

Samsung will be sponsoring Marwan's trip to the grand final of the video gaming competition. "I am truly ecstatic to have won this competition, being chosen to represent my country at the grand final fills me with pride", said Mr Khoory.

Raj Varma, general manager of IT sales at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: "By sponsoring the World Cyber Games for the 12th year running, Samsung is showing its commitment to the global gaming community to help fuel development of the gaming industry."
