A 21-year-old Emirati died instantly when his car crashed into a lorry in Fujairah on Wednesday.
The crash happened at around dusk on Al Taween Road in the Sarm area.
Emergency services reached the site quickly but the man was declared dead at the scene.
The Asian driver of the lorry was treated for minor injuries.
Fujairah Police did not release more details about the accident.
Officers urged motorists to adhere to speed limits and follow rules of the road.
