An Emirati man died in a car accident on Al Digdada - Airport Road in Ras Al Khaimah on Tuesday.

Police and ambulance crew were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report at 12am, said Maj Salem Burqiba, acting head at RAK Traffic and Patrols department

Investigations showed the 21-year-old's car swerved suddenly and crashed into a tree before hitting a lamppost and overturning several times.
The man was found dead at the scene and his body was transferred to the hospital.
Funeral prayers were held at 6am on Tuesday at Bin Falaw mosque in Al Digdada area. The man was buried at Al Hamraneya cemetery.
Major Burqiba urged motorists to be cautious while driving at night due to low visibility and to adhere to traffic regulations.
