MUKALLA // Emirates Red Crescent delivered medical supplies to a hospital in Yemen on Sunday.

The team distributed the supplies – which included food, bedcovers and medical equipment – during a site visit to the University Hospital of Gynaecology, Childbirth and Cardiac Catheterisation in the city of Mukalla.

Abdullah Al Masafry, head of the ERC team in Hadhramaut, said the aid was in line with the UAE’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people through humanitarian work.

ERC provides support for working people, including those with low incomes, service workers and contractors at the University Hospital, reported state news agency Wam.
