Hundreds of thousands of Muslims celebrated the start of Eid Al Fitr on Tuesday, with many performing prayers from 5.45am as the sun rose over Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
Eid Al Fitr - the festival that marks the end of Ramadan - sees families visit relatives and friends and eat together after a month of daytime fasting.
