Delhi Private School Sharjah student Arushi Madan, 16, has won the International Young Eco-Hero Award.
The honour is awarded by Action For Nature, a US based nonprofit, to recognize and reward young people aged 8 to 16 who are taking action to solve the world’s tough environmental problems.
A reception celebrating the winners will be held in California on October 24.
