The UAE Research Programme for Rain Enhancement Science has successfully completed a campaign to raise awareness of its work.
The tour visited students at the American University of Sharjah, the University of Sharjah and UAE University in Al Ain. The researchers visited with professors and students from the leading natural science faculties in the country.
“By improving our rain enhancement capabilities, our local scientific talent can strengthen the position of the UAE as a global science and technology leader,” said Dr Abdullah Al Mandoos, director of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), which oversees the programme.
