Sixty-three female students from the UAE, Egypt, Qatar and Malaysia, who are in Dundee for the Al Maktoum College of Higher Education’s annual summer school programme, met the Scottish city’s leading citizen, lord provost Bob Duncan.

“I hope the students will enjoy their visit to Dundee as previous groups have done,“ Mr Duncan said.

Al Maktoum College has prepared visits to other parts of Scotland. The course began on July 15 and ends on August 12.

Study topics include Scottish history and culture.
