A course on the management of violence in prisons and handling dangerous inmates has concluded in Dubai. Held under the auspices of Maj Gen Khamis Al Muzaina, chief of police, and attended by Maj Gen Ahmed bin Dalmouk, director of the training department, the course was organised in cooperation with French embassy and the Protective Security and Emergency Department at Dubai Police.
Brig Ali Al Shamali, head of the punitive and correctional establishments, said Dubai Police were keen to equip their staff with expertise and skills according to modern scientific methods in efforts to better their performance.
