Dubai malls announce Eid Al Adha opening hours

Stores at several malls have announced that they will remain open until 2am on weekends, with cafes and restaurants open even later.

DUBAI // Shopping malls will extend opening hours during Eid Al Adha – but not all night.

Two years after several Dubai malls opened for 24-hour periods during the two-week Islamic holiday, retail outlets at major malls are only required to open until 1am on weekdays and 2am on weekends this time around.

However, cafes and restaurants at certain malls – Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Festival City – will open until 2am on weekdays and 3am on weekends. It is not clear whether Emaar-owned malls will follow the same hours.

These opening hours are operational between September 25 and October 11.
