More than 40,000 volunteers will take part in Dubai Municipality’s launch of its Clean Up the World campaign.
Under the slogan “Our Place, Our Planet, Our Responsibility” in partnership with the United Nations environment programme, the campaign aims to spread environmental awareness and education, maintaining cleanliness through effective participation of members of society.
Volunteers from schools, government departments and businesses have signed up. Campaign activities include the cleaning of public places such as beaches, parks and Dubai Creek.
