Dar Al Ber Society, as part of its Ramadan projects this year, has launched Zakat Al Mal, Money Alms, to collect and deliver aid to people across the country.
The project is “meant to bring happiness to vulnerable people, ease their suffering, and meet their needs during the Holy Month”, the state news agency Wam reported. Aid will come in the form of clothes and gifts.
The society has set aside Dh6.5 million for its various Ramadan initiatives, which will also offer Iftar to people in need.
