Appeal postponed for the bootleg turf war killers

SHARJAH // The appeal for 17 Indian workers sentenced to death in the killing of a Pakistani man in a bootlegging brawl was postponed today until a translator can be found for them.  The Sharjah Criminal Court granted a request by the Bindu Chettur, their defence lawyer, to include a Punjabi translator so the accused can understand the proceedings in their native tongue. The men were found guilty in March of beating a man to death and injuring three others during the attack. * The National
