With the Dubai Metro marking its fifth anniversary this week, we looked at a lot of pictures of Dubai’s popular blue trains. This one image stood out, not just because of the clean composition, but because it was the one frame where a clear, large human face was looking into the train from outside, in effect looking directly at the reader. It’s a very simple but effective study in how the human brain is wired to connect with others.
