Weather forecasters have predicted a chilly weekend across the UAE.

The foggy and misty weather is set to continue in parts of the interior of the country with visibility dipping to less than 500 meters, according to NCMS.

Fog was reported over the capital's Airport, Al Bateen Airport and other areas of Abu Dhabi.

The skies will be partly cloudy at times. Clouds will increase over northern and eastern areas, as well as the islands. Winds are expected to reach up to 28kph across interior regions and 32kph in mountainous areas, forecasters said.

Humidity levels may reach a high of 95 per cent in the interior and along the coast. Temperatures will range from 5°C to 28°C in the interior regions,08°C to 18°C in mountainous areas.

Seas will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf and may become rough at times. It will be slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
