DUBAI // Two British nationals have been cleared of threatening to kill a woman if she did not let them into her home.
Russian T S H, 28, claimed the two kicked and banged on the door of her Jumeirah Beach Residence flat at 11.30pm on November 21, a court heard.
Prosecutors said they jumped on the hood of her Ferrari before fleeing. “They started kicking and knocking violently on my door and asking about a man I know,” said the woman, who called security.
A A, 29, a Bangladeshi guard, said: “I asked them why were they jumping on her car but they did not answer me and left.”
The sales manager said she called the man they were asking for. He looked at security footage and identified two of the men who were jumping on the car and called the police, the court heard.
M A, 32, and P T, 33, were acquitted by Dubai Criminal Court yesterday of issuing threats to kill.
A Pakistani man, R A, 32, was also acquitted of all charges.
