Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler of Ajman, has ordered the release of 101 prisoners from the Penal and Correctional Institution in Ajman to enable them to celebrate Eid Al Adha with their families.
Prisoners who are found eligible for amnesty and had displayed good behaviour while serving their jail terms will be released.
Brigadier Ali Alwan, Director-General of Ajman Police, praised the Ruler's gesture and said arrangements to release the prisoners would get under way immediately.
