RAS AL KHAIMAH // Air Wing paramedics have treated a man who suffered serious injuries while skateboarding on the Jabal Jais mountain.

The helicopter air ambulance was dispatched to the mountain at 11.40am on Sunday to recover the skateboarder.

He was given first aid as he was transported to the Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah.

Colonel Marshal Salem Al Suwaidi, deputy director at the Ministry of Interior, said those practising sports in dangerous areas should be extra cautious and always wear protective equipment.
