About 125 kilograms of fake herbal preparations and other unknown products have been confiscated by Abu Dhabi Municipality.
The random inspections targeted centres selling herbal products, including sexual tonics and creams for men, fluids and syrups for women and slimming products.
None of the items was registered with the Ministry of Health.
According to the municipality, such products are always fake and often mixed with controlled chemical substances.
Their use without medical supervision may result in health hazards.
