ABU DHABI // The fifth edition of Abu Dhabi Media Summit begins on Tuesday at the Rosewood Hotel in Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi.
The three day summit will be openned with a keynote address from Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan followed by a series of discussions attended by top-tier global media players.
Noura Al Kaabi, chief executive of twofour54, the organisers, said the summit would feature a unique combination of high-profile panel sessions, interviews and presentation.
“Our aim is to advance the media industry as a vital pillar of the UAE’s economy and we are pleased to have local, regional and international organisations helping us to connect industry sub-sectors on one platform so that collectively we can drive the industry forward.”
Over its three day programme, ADMS 2014 will delve into the challenges related to key industry topics of content development, distribution, and financing.
Previously, hundreds of key influencers from the global media industry have gathered at this annual event to examine the latest trends in the sector, with a focus on leveraging opportunities in the digital age.
