An Emirati woman from Ras Al Khaimah conned nearly 60 women out of amounts reaching up to Dh50,000 after she duped them into believing she was creating a reserve of money, a Ras Al Khaimah court heard.
The defendant, who is facing several charges of fraud, allegedly fooled the women – from Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and RAK – after contacting them via BBM.
Ras Al Khaimah Misdemeanour Court postponed the case and the next hearing will take place on December 31. No reason was given for the postponement.
