Al Madam Municipality, in cooperation with Al Madam police station, raided an illegal factory for refilling and storing gas cylinders at a farm near a residential neighbourhood. A number of Asian workers were refilling the cylinders and selling them to restaurants and shops in the area.
A total of 280 gas cylinders of various sizes were seized in addition to 10 machines, 7 electronic scales, hoses and caps bearing the trademarks of some certified gas companies in the country. These are offenses publishable by the municipal laws.
