The UAE's field hospital in Amdjarass, Chad, has treated more than 6,000 Sudanese refugees since it opened last month.
The hospital opened under the directive of President Sheikh Mohamed and has focused on cases involving women, children, the elderly and those with chronic diseases.
Its staff have treated 6,110 refugees and performed 54 surgical operations since it opened on July 9, state news agency Wam reported.
Medics closely monitor the health of patients, as well as providing psychological support.
The complex is part of the UAE's humanitarian assistance for Sudanese people affected by the conflict in their homeland.
The hospital was established with contributions from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.
It is also in line with the UAE's efforts to help Chad cope with the influx of refugees.
This month, the UAE sent a plane carrying 13 tonnes of vital food supplies to Chad, as part of its continuing humanitarian support for Sudanese refugees.
The aid was aimed at boosting the living conditions of the Sudanese people who have sought shelter in the neighbouring central African country since conflict broke out in their homeland in April.
The fighting, centred in Khartoum, erupted when a power struggle between rival army generals spilt into an all-out war.
It has killed thousands of people and displaced more than three million, of which more than a million have fled to neighbouring countries, the International Organisation for Migration said this month.
Attempts to find a truce to the four-month war have so far been unsuccessful, with both sides either ignoring or not fully respecting several ceasefires mediated by Saudi Arabia and the US.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
