Members of the Egyptian Air Force landed in the UAE on Monday to take part in a 10-day military exercise.
The Egyptian team will work with the UAE Air Force to sharpen skills, exchange leadership and management expertise and share knowledge on planning and conducting air operations.
The Zayed 3 exercise was organised by the UAE Ministry of Defence in partnership with the Egyptian Armed Forces.
It will be conducted in three phases, covering planning, training and offensive and defensive operations.
The allies will demonstrate the capabilities of their air force units, which are central to regional stability and security.
Activities will also include joint training operations and tactical air manoeuvres to improve the readiness of both countries.
The UAE and Egypt boast strong ties, with military co-operation integral to their long-standing friendship.
