DUBAI // One person was killed and seven injured in road accidents in Dubai at the weekend. At 4.45am yesterday, a Nissan veered off the road at Umm Amara Street killing the driver, while at 6am a truck driving on the wrong side of Al Khail Road collided with another truck driving in the correct lane. The accident caused moderate injury to both drivers. At 2.40am on Thursday, a Nissan veered off the road in Dubai Silicon Oasis, injuring the driver and a passenger. On Friday, at 9.40pm, a vehicle and a motorbike collided on Damascus Road, injuring the bike rider. Also on Friday at 11.18pm, a Nissan collided with a Chevrolet on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road injuring the Nissan driver.
