Liza has been a translator for The National since 2018. Mastering English, Arabic and French, the Lebanese Canadian assists all of the newspaper’s sections and the National’s Luxury Explained on Instagram. She studied English Literature and Political Science and Public Administration in Lebanon and Canadian Studies in Canada. She also built a 10-year-long career in teaching English and French in Lebanon, KSA, and UAE, and Canada. In the solace of the ocean’s waves and coffee retreats, Liza writes short stories, some of which were published on a UK’s leading review exchange site.
