Wins for Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton: The National’s EPL predictions

Burnley v Aston Villa: Suddenly Burnley are wining games and last season’s top scorer, Danny Ings, pictured, is back in the goals. The way Villa have been playing (winless in eight games), Burnley will fancy another win. PREDICTION: 2-0

Liverpool v Stoke City: Liverpool haven’t won for more than a month in the league and have lost their last three games. If they can score an early goal, they should cruise to a comfortable win against Stoke to get their campaign back on track. PREDICTION: 2-0

Manchester United v Hull City: United have stumbled to fourth place in the table but the positive signs – amid all their injuries – are that Wayne Rooney is playing well and David de Gea, pictured, is in the form of his life in goal. They now have two home games – Hull then Stoke – where they should get maximum points and consolidate their top four position. PREDICTION: 3-1

Queens Park Rangers v Leicester City: On paper, QPR have the better players and they have the hottest striker, Charlie Austin, pictured, among the two teams. They are also playing better football then free-falling Leicester. PREDICTION: 2-1

Swansea City v Crystal Palace: Swansea’s fine start to the season has been built on their home form, where they have taken 13 of 18 points available and outscored their opponents 10 to four. Hard to see any change to that run with the visit of Palace. PREDICTION: 3-0

West Ham United v Newcastle United: Two form teams with near-identical records clash at Upton Park. West Ham, pictured, should be able to turn home advantage into at least a point, but Newcastle’s defence, led by Fabricio Coloccini, have not conceded in their last three league games. PREDICTION: 0-0

Sunderland v Chelsea: Until they show any signs of weakness, I’ll be predicting a win for Chelsea, pictured, every week. They’ve got too much strength in their front six for Sunderland to stop them scoring and the home side have only 12 goals this season. PREDICTION: 0-2

Southampton v Manchester City: A first big test for Southampton and they can take at least a point from City, pictured. The home side’s defensive record – only six goals conceded this season – and the fact City had an energy-sapping midweek duel with Bayern Munich points to at least a point for Southampton. PREDICTION: 1-1

Tottenham Hotspur v Everton: Tottenham, pictured, often struggle after Europa League ties and they haven’t won a game against 11 men since October 5. Everton, unbeaten in five, will be licking their lips. PREDICTION: 0-1
