Western Sydney Wanderers still searching for first A-League win

Western Sydney Wanderers earned a rare point in a goalless draw at home to fellow strugglers Central Coast Mariners.

Between them, the Wanderers and Mariners have mustered just one A-League win in 24 attempts this season - with the Mariners having beaten Newcastle Jets 1-0 on the opening day of the campaign - so it was perhaps no surprise that this ended in a stalemate.

The result leaves the Wanderers - who are the reigning club champions of Asia - rock bottom with just four points from 11 matches, and without a goal in more than 400 minutes of league action. The Mariners are eighth with nine points from 13.
