Former World Player of the Year and President of Liberia George Weah took part a training session at his former team Al Jazira during a trip to Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Weah, a formidable striker who represented the likes of AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Manchester City during a stellar playing career that also saw him crowned Ballon d'Or winner in 1995, played for Jazira for two seasons from 2001-03.

Mr Weah was in Abu Dhabi to discuss co-operation in investment, economy and tourism with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
