A crowd of more than 8,500 spectators filled the Zabeel Stadium on Monday night for a Dubai derby that saw the Arabian Gulf League leaders host the reigning champions.
And despite an exciting game of football, the score remained goalless, in no small part down to a pair of misses from Ahli midfielder — and former Wasl player — Habib Fardan.
