Al Jazira's win over Arabian Gulf League rivals Al Ain makes it to the cover of The National Sport on Tuesday, January 24.
Al Jazira’s 3-1 victory on Monday night – their 12th win in 15 matches – not only helps keeps their place at the top of the table intact, it even increases their lead over the other title rivals, Al Ahli, to six points. The Abu Dhabi club are on 38 points, Al Ahli on 32 and Al Ain in third place on 31.
Worse for Al Ain, their manager Zlatko Dalic then tells the media of his intention to quit after more than two years in charge, a statement later confirmed by a club official.
