Thailand kick and flip their way past Malaysia in ISTAF Super Series finals – in pictures

World No 1 and top-seeded Thailand punctured all hopes Malaysia had of an upset in front of a disciplined and passionate 3,000 fans with a 22-20, 21-14 victory in the ISTAF Super Series finals on Friday. The sport of sepak takraw, or kick volleyball, is a sport native to Southeast Asia. Sepaktakraw differs from the similar sport of volleyball in its use of a rattan ball and only allowing players to use their feet, knee, chest and head to touch the ball.
