Golfer Beth Allen is on the cover of The National's Sport section on Sunday, November 6 after winning the inaugural Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Open in Abu Dhabi.
Allen fired a course-record-equalling 64 on Saturday to seize the lead and the Ladies European Tour (LET) Order of Merit lead.
“It’s so special, no one can take this away from me,” Allen said. “I love this course. I immediately thought ‘wow’, I think I can shoot some low numbers around here.”
