Saturday cover: A city divided as Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola face-off in Manchester derby
Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola go head-to-head on The National Sport front page on Saturday, September 10, ahead of the eagerly anticipated Manchester derby.
The presence of both managers in opposing dugouts has given this matchup between the city and title rivals even more spice than previous seasons.
Both sides enter the match with perfect records in the Premier League so something has to give on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.30pm UAE time).
The National’s Premier League correspondent Richard Jolly was at Old Trafford for the pre-match press conferences held by Mourinho and Guardiola.
Among the talking points included the upcoming debut for new City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, the absence of Sergio Aguero, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who faces former manager Guardiola.
