Racing Santander have loaned the Poland striker Ebi Smolarek to English Premier League club Bolton for the rest of the season.

SANTANDER // Racing Santander have loaned the Poland striker Ebi Smolarek to English Premier League club Bolton for the season. The Spanish side announced today that the Trotters would also have an option to buy the 27-year-old player at the end of his loan spell. Smolarek joined Santander from Borussia Dortmund a year ago, making 34 league appearances last season and scoring four goals. The former Feyenoord striker scored nine goals in Poland's European Championship qualifying campaign but failed to add to his tally during the tournament.
