Hello and welcome to The National's live blog of the Rugby World Cup semi-finals.

Six Nations champions Wales face South Africa for a chance to contest next Saturday's final.

The match in Yokohama kicks off at 1pm UAE time.

Wales have never reached the championship game of rugby’s global showpiece while South Africa are two-time winners having lifted the Webb Ellis Trophy in 1995 and 2007.

The winner will face England, who beat two-time defending champions New Zealand in Saturday's first semi-final.
