Dubai Hurricanes celebrated their 20th anniversary in style on Friday as they beat Jebel Ali Dragons 30-6 to clinch their place in the UAE Premiership final.
To commemorate two decades as a club, Hurricanes put on a festival of netball and rugby, which included a live band and pool party.
Their first team ensured a fine conclusion to the festivities, as they comfortably beat their city rivals, the Dragons.
It means they will now face their fellow tenants at The Sevens, Dubai Exiles, in the domestic final.
They have a four point lead over third-placed Abu Dhabi Harlequins, whose trip to Bahrain was postponed, with one match still to play.
Exiles will be formidable opposition. They continued their own stellar run with a 76-13 win over Tigers at the weekend, for their ninth win of the West Asia season.
Dubai’s oldest club have already earned a return to the cross-border final, where they are due to face Bahrain.
