Tom Brady, Virat Kohli, Rafael Nadal and Simona Halep: 25 of the best sports images of the week

One of sport's all-time greats was writing another chapter in his incredible career story this week.

Quarterback Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 31-9 victory over Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV, claiming his fifth MVP award in the NFL showpiece.

It was also the 43-year-old's seventh Super Bowl title as the Bucs won on home turf in Florida.

Over in football, Bayern Munich defeated Tigres UANL 1-0 in the Club World Cup final in Qatar to make it a remarkable six consecutive major honours for the German club.

Winning the Fifa showpiece, meant Bayern added a sixth trophy to their 2019-20 Bundesliga, German Cup, European Cup and the domestic and Uefa Super Cup prizes.

Another serial winner, the evergreen Zlatan Ibrahimovic, broke the 500-goal barrier in his amazing club career.

The 39-year-old scored twice in AC Milan's 4-0 Serie A battering of Crotone, maintaining his form 22 years after making his professional debut for Swedish club Malmo in 1999.

In England, Liverpool's grip on the Premier League trophy is hanging by a thread after a disastrous week of action.

First, they were thrashed 4-1 at home to league leaders Manchester City, then they followed that up by losing 3-1 at Leicester City, despite being one-goal up with 12 minutes to go.

Why your domicile status is important

Your UK residence status is assessed using the statutory residence test. While your residence status – ie where you live - is assessed every year, your domicile status is assessed over your lifetime.

Your domicile of origin generally comes from your parents and if your parents were not married, then it is decided by your father. Your domicile is generally the country your father considered his permanent home when you were born.

UK residents who have their permanent home ("domicile") outside the UK may not have to pay UK tax on foreign income. For example, they do not pay tax on foreign income or gains if they are less than £2,000 in the tax year and do not transfer that gain to a UK bank account.

A UK-domiciled person, however, is liable for UK tax on their worldwide income and gains when they are resident in the UK.

How it works

1) The liquid nanoclay is a mixture of water and clay that aims to convert desert land to fertile ground

2) Instead of water draining straight through the sand, it apparently helps the soil retain water

3) One application is said to last five years

4) The cost of treatment per hectare (2.4 acres) of desert varies from $7,000 to $10,000 per hectare
