The coronavirus pandemic has seriously affected life across the globe and the world of sport has been hit hard.
All major sporting events have been called off or postponed with very few competitive matches going on.
Below is a list of matches and tournament that have been impacted by the pandemic.
Football
Uefa postpone Euro 2020 finals until June 11-July 12 next year.
Conmebol postpone the Copa America until next year.
Serie A matches, and all sporting events in Italy, suspended.
All top-level football matches in England, including the Premier League, suspended until April 4.
Germany's Bundesliga and second division will pause at least until April 2.
Uefa postpones all Champions League and Europa League matches due to take place between March 17-19.
The Confederation of African Football postpones two rounds of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers - March 25-31.
The top two tiers of French football – Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 – suspended.
US Major League Soccer suspends season.
All football in the Netherlands suspended until the end of March.
Fifa and the Asian Football Confederation agree to postpone Asian World Cup qualifying matches in March and June.
Fifa postpone South American qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup between March 23-31.
New seasons in the Chinese, Japanese and South Korean leagues postponed.
Australia's A-League bans fans from matches for the rest of the season.
The Mexican football league suspends all matches in the top-flight, second tier and women's league until further notice.
The Brazilian football confederation suspends all national competitions until further notice.
Cricket
The last two games of Australia's three-match ODI series against New Zealand in Sydney and Hobart were cancelled.
Australia and New Zealand's limited overs tours were postponed.
The start of the Indian Premier League T20 tournament (March 29) postponed to April 15.
The boards of India and South Africa agreed to reschedule a three-match ODI series to a later date. The first match on March 12 was washed out.
England's two-match Test series in Sri Lanka scheduled to start on March 19 postponed.
The final leg of Bangladesh's tour of Pakistan, which involved a Test match and an ODI in April, postponed.
Zimbabwe and Ireland agree to postpone a six-match men's series scheduled for Zimbabwe in April.
Final stages of Pakistan Super League T20 tournament postponed.

Stars lead coronavirus donation efforts

Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert, who was the first NBA player to test positive for Covid-19, announced he would be donating $500,000 (Dh1.836 million) to various causes: $200,000 would be provided to game-day staff, while $100,000 will be donated to families impacted by the virus in Utah and Oklahoma City, and the other $100,000 will got to France, Gobert's home country. Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin said two weeks before the NBA went into lockdown that "we have to take care of our part-time employees", although what those measures might be has not been made public. AFP -
After Brooklyn Nets player Spencer Dinwiddie tweeted that the organisation has to "take care of the non salary arena staff", team owner Joe Tsai said the Nets were putting a plan in place for the Barclays Center staff. AP -
Cleveland Cavaliers player Kevin Love was the first player in the NBA to donate money when he pledged $100,000 to staff at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse - the home of the Cavs. AFP -
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was quick to announce that all employees who work events and games at the American Airlines Center would be paid in full during the NBA lockdown. The Mavs also released a statement saying they will reimburse employees for breakfast and lunch bought at Dallas-area restaurants to both ease their financial burden while helping out local businesses. Detroit Pistons player Blake Griffin said he would be donating $100,000 to the workers and employees who work at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. AFP -
Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha, announced they were partnering with a food bank to provide one million meals to students in Oakland who cannot attend school during the pandemic. The Warriors as a franchise, including owners, players and coaches, will contribute $1m to a relief fund for Chase Center employees. AFP -
Houston Astros player George Springer said he would donate $100,000 to employees at Minute Maid Park, where the Astros play their home games. AFP -
NBA teams Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers and NHL team LA Kings, who share the Staples Center, announced they have created a joint-fund to compensate all the part-time and contract staff that work at the arena for NBA and NHL games. Getty -
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo announced he and his family would be donating $100,000 to staff at the Fiserv Forum, tweeting: ""It's bigger than basketball". AFP -
Minnesota Timberwolves player Karl-Anthony Towns said he is pledging $100,000 to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to assist in the testing facilities for the coronavirus. AFP -
New Orleans Pelicans rookie star Zion Williamson said he would be covering the wages of all workers at Smoothie King Center for the next 30 days. "This is a small way for me to express my support and appreciation for these wonderful people who have been so great to me and my teammates," Williamson wrote on Instagram. Reuters -

Charlotte Hornets issued a statement on Sunday confirming that the franchise would be covering the salaries of all part-time workers at Spectrum Center who were scheduled to work any upcoming games that have since been cancelled. Reuters -
Chicago Bulls announced over the weekend that they and NHL team Chicago Blackhawks would pay game-day workers who will miss out due to cancelled NBA and NHL games. AP -
Indiana Pacers owner Herb Simon has said he has given financial aid to the part-time workers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse - the Pacers' home arena. Reuters -
Memphis Grizzlies said the franchise would be compensating all game-day employees for any games missed through the end of the year. AP -
Philadelphia 76ers have said the organisation will cover the wages of hourly and part-time workers at the Wells Fargo Center for cancelled games. AP -
Washington Wizards owner Ted Leonsis said that all stadium workers and employees will be paid through March 31 for any Wizards and Washington Capitals games they were scheduled to work. AFP

Formula One cancels the Australian Grand Prix and postpones the next three races in Bahrain, Vietnam and China.
Four rounds of the MotoGP season in Qatar, Thailand, Texas and Argentina will not go ahead as scheduled.
NASCAR races at the Atlanta Motor Speedway (March 15) and Homestead-Miami Speedway (March 22) postponed.
Round four of the World Rally Championship in Argentina (April 23-26) postponed.
The World Rallycross Championship opener in Catalunya-Barcelona (April 18-19) postponed.
Rally Mexico cut short after the second leg.
The seventh round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, scheduled for April 23-25 in Spa, Belgium, postponed.
Cycling
Final two stages of the UAE Tour cancelled after two Italian participants test positive.
The Paris-Nice cycling race ends a day early after the eighth stage into Nice is cancelled.
The Giro d'Italia, scheduled to start in Budapest, Hungary on May 9, is postponed.
Top one-day cycling races Paris-Roubaix and Liege-Bastogne-Liege, which were due to be held on April 12 and 26 respectively, have been postponed.
Golf
The year's first major, the Masters, postponed from April 9-12 to "some later date".
The Players Championship in Florida cancelled after the first round. The next three PGA events also scrapped.
The Honda LPGA Thailand event and the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore cancelled.
The Indian Open, the Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpur and the China Open postponed.
Horse racing
The Grand National festival due to be held from April 2 to April 4 has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Jockey Club said in a statement on Monday.
Rugby
Four Six Nations matches postponed.
The Singapore and Hong Kong legs of the World Rugby Sevens Series postponed from April to October.
Rugby Europe announces suspension of all its matches and tournaments from March 13-April 15.
France's rugby federation suspends all competitions.
European rugby season suspended after the governing body, European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR), postpones the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup quarter-final matches scheduled for April 3-5.
England's Premiership Rugby season suspended for five weeks, England's Rugby Football Union (RFU) suspends all rugby activity until April 14.
Rugby Australia locks down its headquarters to be disinfected after two members of the national rugby sevens programme test positive for the virus.
South Africa Rugby suspends all national team training camps until April 14.
Tennis
ATP suspends its professional men's tennis tour for six weeks after the Miami Open (March 23-April 5) gets cancelled.
The Fed Cup finals (Budapest; April 14-19) postponed.
The BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells cancelled.
WTA Tour suspended until May 2 and tournaments in Stuttgart, Istanbul and Prague will not be held as scheduled.
Championships, scheduled to take place in Uzbekistan on April 16-25, is cancelled.
The French Open tennis tournament has been postponed until September 20-October 4.
North America
The NBA suspends its season.
The NHL suspends its season.
The MLB further delays its 2020 season's opening day of March 26.
Boston Marathon organisers postpone the race from April 20 to September 14.
The NHL has told players, including those from outside North America, they can return home and should self-quarantine through March 27.
Other sports
Fina cancels all international water polo events over the next three months.
International archery has been suspended until April 30, which will affect qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
The World Athletics Indoor Championships (Nanjing, March 13-15) are postponed.
Paris and Barcelona marathons postponed.
The London marathon (April 26) postponed to October 4.
THE FUTURE
Tournament organisers are keeping a close eye on the outbreak and there is every chance major events scheduled for later in the year could feel the impact.
The Olympics are set to begin in Japan on July 24 and there is a real danger of the Games getting cancelled.
Euro 2020 is scheduled to be the first pan-continental competition. With almost all European host nations having confirmed cases of the virus, the tournament could be pushed to later in the year. The tournament is scheduled to begin on June 12.
