World No 1 Novak Djokovic cruised in his first-round victory over Tommy Robredo at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships while Tunisian wild card Malek Jaziri overcame jet lag to down Russian veteran Mikhail Youzhny. Feliciano Lopez hit a career landmark with a battling win over his Spanish compatriot Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
