North Korea got back to winning ways in their defence of the AFC under-19 championship with a comfortable 5-0 victory over Vietnam in Ras Al-Khaimah last night.
It took just three minutes for the holders to take the lead courtesy after captain Kang Nam-gwon got on the end of a rebound to drill home the opener.
Pak Myong-song then doubled Korea's advantage with a free kick halfway through the first half.
A Jong-Kwang-sok penalty, along with goals from Jang Kuk-chol and Kim Ju-song put North Korea level with Uzbekistan on top of the group.
The two will face each other on Thursday at Emirates Stadium.
