They have waited 24 years to see their side in the NBA Finals and they ensured their heroes were not lacking in support.

Toronto Raptors fans packed the outside of the Scotiabank Arena on Friday in the area known as 'Jurassic Park' as their side played Game 1 of the series against the Golden State Warriors.

The Raptors players returned the favour by winning 118-109 to go 1-0 up in the best-of-seven series to delight the huge crowd watching the action outside.

Game 2 is on Sunday, again at the Scotiabank Arena.
