Goalkeeper: Ross Flitney (Eastleigh)

The goalkeeper, centre in green, made a string of saves as Eastleigh, the only non-league club left in the FA Cup, earned a replay against Championship Bolton.

Right-back: Hector Bellerin (Arsenal)

The Spaniard, right, ventured forward to great effect to help set up two goals as the FA Cup holders saw off Sunderland.

Centre-back: Craig Cathcart (Watford)

Cathcart (not pictured) played his part as Quique Sanchez Flores’s side shut out Newcastle to extend their impressive season with a 1-0 win.

Centre-back: David Edgar (Sheffield United)

Made a magnificent block to keep out Anthony Martial’s shot as League One Sheffield United nearly kept Manchester United out.

Left-back: Joe Jacobson (Wycombe Wanderers)

Held his nerve to convert the penalty that meant League Two Wycombe Wanderers held Premier League Aston Villa on Saturday.

Right winger: Jonathan Walters (Stoke City)

The Ireland international, centre, ensured there was no shock at Doncaster with a beautifully taken winner to send Stoke through.

Centre midfield: Liam Sercombe (Oxford United)

Sercombe, left, helped set up the shock of the round with a calm penalty as the League Two team went on to knock out Swansea.

Centre midfield: Barry Bannan (Sheffield Wednesday)

Bannan, left, scored perhaps the goal of the round with a long-range effort as Championship rivals Fulham were beaten.

Left winger: Mustapha Carayol (Leeds United)

Marked his Leeds debut in style with a spectacular goal in a Yorkshire derby victory over Rotherham United.

Striker: Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)

Scored a high-class goal at Norwich and then set up Kelechi Iheanacho for his side’s second in a comfortable 3-0 win.

Striker: Kemar Roofe (Oxford United)

Two goals showed his pace and finishing ability and allowed Oxford to knock out a Swansea team three divisions above them.
