The first Manchester derby of the season takes place this Sunday, and we want to know which players from City and United would make the best composite XI.

Both go in to the match at City's Etihad Stadium high on confidence: City put six goals past a hapless Shakhtar Donetsk in a Uefa Champions League group match on Wednesday, while United recorded a smash-and-grab win away to Juventus.

Pep Guardiola's City sit unbeaten at the top of the summit, nine points better off than United.

Jose Mourinho's men have shown resilience and form of late, and head to their cross-city rivals on the back on three successive wins across competitions.

But we want to know how many United players would get in a team alongside the Premier League leaders?

There is a selection of two goalkeepers, seven defenders, eight midfielders and seven attackers to choose from. The top XI players will be configured into a 4-4-2 formation judged on their respective positions.
