The World Cup 2018 stadiums in Russia as seen from space - in pictures

Images have been released ahead of World Cup 2018 showing the 12 stadiums hosting games in Russia as seen from space.

The shots were taken from the International Space Station and allow people a different view of where the 64 games that will decide this summer's World Cup will be played.

The tournament begins on June 14, with the opening game seeing hosts Russia take on Saudi Arabia at the Luzhniki Stadium.
