The Premier League resumes this week following a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Norwich City placed some of their non-playing staff on furlough but said in April wage deferrals for the first-team squad have "never been discussed".
The Canaries are bottom of the table, seven points from safety. They host Southampton at Carrow Road on Friday.
