Everton were in the relegation zone two months ago, but talk has now turned to qualifying for Europe.

Carlo Ancelotti is learning more about his squad as the weeks go by, but he has already made a big difference to the results.

Everton take on Crystal Palace on Saturday in one of only two Premier League games because of the midwinter break. A win would lift them above Manchester United into seventh place.

According to Sportrac, an online sports team and player contract website, two players share billing as top earners at Everton, a midfielder and a defender, who both pocket an annual salary of £6.24 million (Dh29.5m), or £120,000 a week.

Ancelotti wants to build his team around Brazilian star Richarlison - but where dos he figure in the rankings?

Above is a photo gallery of 21 Everton players and their weekly salaries. The figures were recorded at the start of the 2019/20 season, and do not include any new and improved terms signed by any players, or some undisclosed wages.
