Rajiv van La Parra fired a stunning first-half winner as 10-man Huddersfield Town held on for another Premier League win to heap more pressure on West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis.
Van La Parra curled home the only goal just before half time and although Christopher Schindler was sent off early in the second period, David Wagner's side produced more heroics to leave the visitors without a win in nine Premier League matches.
Huddersfield, indebted to goalkeeper Jonas Lossl in stoppage time, beat Manchester United in their previous home game and this fourth league win of the season has lifted them five points clear of West Brom, who have not won since mid-August.
Newcastle United 0-1 Bournemouth
Bournemouth: Cook (90+2')
Steve Cook's stoppage-time header handed Bournemouth a 1-0 victory at Newcastle after Dwight Gayle saw a first-half strike controversially chalked off.
Defender Cook powered home from a corner in the second added minute to hand Eddie Howe's visitors a third Premier League win of the season.
It came on a day when Newcastle were made to pay for missed chances. However, the bulk of a crowd of 52,237 left St James' Park firmly believing Gayle's 16th-minute strike should have stood, with television replay suggesting they may have had a point.
But for that offside decision, the woodwork, the excellence of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and the bravery of defender Cook, Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez cut a frustrated figure at the end of the match.
Southampton 0-1 Burnley
Burnley: Vokes (81')
Burnley's impressive start to the season continued when they earned a 1-0 win at Southampton.
The St Mary's crowd have not had much to cheer of late as they had seen their side win only twice in 11 games prior to the visit of Burnley.
It looked like Southampton were about to better that record but they found Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope in fine form before Sam Vokes brilliantly headed in the winner in the 81st minute with his side's only shot on target in the match.
The result sees Burnley climb above Liverpool into sixth, temporarily at least, while Southampton stay in 13th.
Swansea City 0-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton: Murray (29')
Glenn Murray scored for the third successive game as Brighton inflicted yet more home misery on struggling Swansea.
Murray's 29th-minute close-range effort gave Brighton a 1-0 win and took them into the top half of the table in their debut Premier League season.
It was another victory down to commitment, energy and organisation, with Brighton manager Chris Hughton winning the tactical battle and Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy outstanding in central defence.
Brighton, who drew 1-1 with Southampton last weekend, have lost only once in six games and their victory was only briefly threatened when substitute Luciano Narsingh struck the crossbar in stoppage time.
Swansea's season is turning into another sorry affair after last term's close shave with relegation.
This was a fifth home defeat in six games and drops them into the relegation zone.
Stoke City 2-2 Leicester City

Leicester: Iborra (33'), Mahrez (60')
Peter Crouch's second-half header earned Stoke City a point at home to Leicester City and ensured a familiar scoreline at the bet365 Stadium.
It was the third season in a row that the two teams have drawn 2-2 in this fixture, with substitute Crouch pegging back Leicester for the second time after Xherdan Shaqiri had equalised in the first half.
Vicente Iborra's first goal in English football gave Leicester a deserved lead, which Riyad Mahrez restored on the hour mark.
Crouch nearly won it right at the death with another header but the result, coming on the back of a much-needed win at Watford last week, will have helped ease any pressure on Stoke manager Mark Hughes while Leicester's resurgence continued and they are now unbeaten in six games.
