Premier League predictions: Manchester City sweep aside Palace, Manchester United and Liverpool all square

We pick out the winners and losers from the latest round of English top-flight fixtures

FRIDAY - Southampton v Leicester (11pm kick-off UAE): Forget about that Jamie Vardy chap, there's a new Foxes goal machine in town. Kelechi Iheanacho continued his prolific run in front of goal by scoring the later winner at home to Crystal Palace last week, making it 12 goals in nine games. He will fancy his chances of adding to that tally against Southampton's porous defence. Prediction: Southampton 1 Leicester 3. EPA

We are now hurtling down the home straight in the Premier League season.

The title and bottom three spots look pretty set in stone already but the race for European places is still very much ongoing.

Fernandinho and Chris Wood make history – English football's team of the week

Third-placed Leicester City kick-off this weekend's action when they face Southampton at St Mary's Stadium.

On Saturday, champions-elect City take on Crystal Palace in the capital while Leeds United are also heading south for a game against Brighton. Chelsea then clash with London neighbours Fulham before Everton's home game versus Aston Villa.

Sunday sees Newcastle United entertain Arsenal at St James' Park before the game of the weekend when Manchester United play host to old rivals Liverpool. Spurs against Sheffield United in London finishes off the day's action.

The Midlands derby between West Bromwich Albion and Wolves, followed by Burnley against West Ham at Turf Moor, complete the latest round of fixtures on Monday.
