The Premier League resumes this week following a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Leaders Liverpool reversed their decision to use the British government's furlough scheme to pay non-playing club staff, apologising to fans for coming to the "wrong conclusion" following a fierce backlash from supporters and former players.

The Anfield club have issued no updates on player of staff wage cuts or deferrals.

With the league resuming it seems only a matter of time before Liverpool are crowned champions of England for the first time since 1990.

Jurgen Klopp's side are 25 points clear at the summit and face Merseyside rivals Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
